HPM is pleased to announce the addition of Branderley Claudio to the drug safety team

Dr Branderley Claudio, former Senior Brand Safety Leader at Novartis Pharma Headquarters (Basel) has joined HPM as a Group Leader in the drug safety department. In this capacity, he will be responsible for supervising the medical aspects of all drug safety activities, including medical support to the case processing group, the safety writing group, and the integrated safety services team. In addition, Dr Claudio will also be responsible for leading the safety writing group.

Branderley Claudio has extensive experience in medical safety, signal detection, safety issues management, and risk management. Prior to his 7-year experience in the heart of a global safety department, Dr Claudio was the medical director in the Brazilian branches of several pharmaceutical companies including Serono and Novartis, for over 20 years.

Dr Claudio holds an MD from the Federal University of Sao Paulo, and is a specialist in clinical pathology.

In his new role as a Group Leader, Dr Claudio will bring invaluable support to the drug safety department.
